Welcome to Molesworth Recreation Reserve Caravan and Camping Park, the reserve is located in the township of Molesworth in the Shire of Murrindindi on the banks of the Goulburn River. the reserve is on crown land under the control of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and is managed by the Molesworth reserve committee of management.
The committee members are all volunteers and are elected at a general meeting held every three years, the committee positions are chairperson, secretary, treasurer and up to six other committee members.
The reserve has live in caretakers who manage the day to day running and maintenance and beauty of the reserve.
Shower and Toilet block, laundry room with coin operated washing machines and drier, the laundry also has a book exchange library.
There are no permanent residents permitted at the reserve and site holders have to sign a site agreement every twelve months. if you are interested in purchasing an onsite van as they become available give your details to the caretakers and they will add you to a waiting list.
The reserve is dog friendly but rules below regarding pets must be observed, camp fires are also welcome but must be contained within a designated fire-pit , fires are not permitted on days of total fire ban or when the caretakers deem it to dangerous to have fires within the reserve.
There is also free undercover electric BBQ's, tables and seating located behind the pavilion, in the rear of the pavilion is a camp kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and dining table and chairs which is available for all campers to use free of charge and within the pavilion is an area with some entertainment for all including satellite television, use of the television is only with permission of the caretakers

The following is a copy of the rules you will receive on Arrival
The use of chainsaws or any other power tools is restricted to between the hours of 9am and 8.00pm. Generators must be turned off between 10.00pm and 9.00am. Loud noise is not permitted between the hours of 11pm and 9am.
We ask that all park users be mindful of the impact that noise may have on the quiet enjoyment of others. Loud or unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated at ANY time.
All dogs must be kept on a lead when outside unless in a designated lead free area.
The park speed limit is 10 km per hour. All other Victorian Road Traffic Rules and regulations apply.
Fires are only permitted in a designated fire pit. All Country Fire Authority regulations apply.
On days of heightened fire danger, fires may not be permitted, at the Caretakers discretion. Please refer to the caretakers if in doubt.
Rubbish including garden waste must only be deposited in the designated bins. Waste generated from outside of the recreation reserve may not be placed in the bins.
The Games room is available from 9 am to 11pm. Please note the Games room is alcohol and smoke free. The room may be closed at times for other community uses.
A maximum of three vehicles are permitted on any site. Any extra vehicle must be parked at the direction of the caretaker or a member of the Committee of Management. At no time shall any vehicle be parked in a way that impedes access to any roadway, gate or other site.
Sleeping in cars.
Campers are not permitted to sleep in any motor vehicle unless the vehicle is specifically designed for that purpose.
Designated area to camp.
Campers must only camp in the area directed to by the caretaker or a member of the Committee of Management.
Please note: Any loud or unacceptable behaviour may result in you being asked to leave the park immediately.
